Pickleball Nova Scotia will hold its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, June 2nd at the St. Margaret’s Centre in Tantallon. The meeting will run from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM and will be followed by pickleball in the gym from 1:30 until 3:00 pm for those in attendance.
One very important item of business will be the ratification of the By-Laws for PNS These By-laws have not been updated since 2011. All PNS members will receive a copy of the By-Laws via email prior to the AGM.
Please also note that a number of positions on the Board are open and will be voted on at the meeting. The positions available include the following: President, Vice-President, Treasurer and two Directors-at-Large. All terms are for two (2) years.
The President and Vice-President positions are currently being filled on an interim basis by Dan Smith and Pat Morrison.
The PNS Board generally meets about ten (10) times throughout the year (once a month from September through to June). Due to the distance some board members have to travel, attendance at meetings can be arranged by teleconference call.
